Welcome to the Mardi Gras 2009 Event schedule, which covers Cajun and Zydeco dance and music events in southwest Louisiana from about five days before
Mardi Gras until about one after Mardi Gras. This schedule contains the same information displayed on the Patsy Report but only for the period in and around Mardi Gras. To be safe, you should contact venues before
traveling long distances. Performers appearing at town celebrations, clubs and restaurants are posted as
information becomes available. For general information about Mardi Gras parades, celebrations and non-dance events
visit the LSUE Mardi Gras page, Lafayette Convention and Visitors Commission., or St Landry Parish Event Schedule. For all events in Eastern Texas go to www.zydecoevents.com/events.html Updates are posted as information
becomes available, through and including Mardi Gras day, so check back for the latest information. Performer information
for Zydeco clubs is usually unavailable until about three weeks prior to Mardi Gras, please remain patient, it
shall be posted.
