Each day starts with a choice of jam sessions or a visit with various artists; a cup of good strong Cajun coffee is always available. The 2009 Danceathon is on at a great new location in Clark NJ. The Deutscher Club has an outdoor pavilion with: weather safe roll down sides, a wood dance floor, stage, covered picnic tables, along with real bathrooms and an outdoor picnic grove.
The party is now one day long and we continue with the great all day pot luck meal, along with burgers and hot dogs from the grill, water and soft drinks all included with your admission. Wine and beer are available for purchase at a nominal price.
The host hotel is the Crowne Plaza, 36 Valley Rd, Clark, NJ. Discounted rates of $79 for 1 King bed, $89 for 2 standard beds are available by calling (732) 574-0100 by June 30, 2009 and requesting the Danceathon room rate. The hotel is about 5 minute drive from the event.
