Security Measures We Have Taken
- Secure Socket Layer (SSL) — Arnb.Org uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer - HTTPS) encryption when transmitting sensitive information.
An icon resembling a padlock is displayed on the bottom of most browser windows during SSL transactions.
Any time Arnb.Org asks you for personal information, your userid, or your password it is SSL encrypted.
The information you provide will be stored securely on our server.
- Password Encryption — Your password is one-way encrypted on our database. We store the results of the password algorithm not your original password.
Our online password reset form must be used in case you lose or forget your password.
- Secure Access — Your Arnb.Org Userid and Password control access to the event database and other sensitive information on Arnb.Org.
Users are asked to create their userid and password during the sign-up process.
Please note that a successful user signin automatically times out after a 30 minutes of inactivity when the "Remember Me" option is not selected.
- Financial information — Arnb.Org does not request, collect, store or process financial account information.
Bank account numbers and credit card information may be collected, stored, and processed by our secure payment processor, Paypal.
